Suitable to join one downpipe to the other on Alton Evolution Five and Evolution Six greenhouses.
This special Rainwater kit is designed for use in conjunction with a basic rainwater kit supplied as standard with your new Alton Evolution. The kit comes with all the bits required to take water from one gutter across the back of the greenhouse to the gutter downpipe on the opposite side. This is an ideal solution for customers who only wish to have a single water butt to collect rain water.
Q. Is this kit suitable for an aluminium greenhouse which has square guttering?
A. Hello, the guttering used on the Evolution greenhouses is rounded.
Q. Could this also be used on my Castle Denbigh greenhouse ? Thanks
A. Hello, some parts would fit but you would need others in addition. You would be best ordering 2 gutter outlets, 2 stops ends, 3 45 degree bends, 2 90 degree bends, 1 T piece, and then a 2m length of pipe instead of the kit.
Q. How do you connect this to a water butt?
A. Hello, this kit is to take the water to the back to the greenhouse. So you will still need to use some of the downpipe components that come with the greenhouse. From the T piece at the back you would use 2 shorter lengths of pipe and a 45 degree bend to divert the pipe away and then using the other length of pipe feed it into the water butt and use a few blobs of silicone to keep it in place.
Q. Can I use this on my new Alton Victorian dwarf wall 6'x10'
A. Hello, unfortunately the pipe diameters arent the same on the Evolution and the Alton Victorian.
Q. Would this fit my 6 x 4 Halls Greenhouse thank you
A. Hello, no it wouldn't do unfortunately. The gutter profile is completely different on a Halls and Evolution.
