Hercules Octagonal

As the name implies, Hercules promises superior strength.  It offers not only good standard features, but also great value as well.

Its strength is derived from the extra aluminium in the frame, so if you live in a windy area, a Hercules is the greenhouse for you.

Hercules Octagonals come in two sizes; 6'3" and 7'11", which are both 6'1" at the eaves, and 8'4" at the ridge, giving you plenty of headroom.  It comes with a durable powder coated finish, in an attractive Old Cottage Green.

Features which are normally offered as optional extras with other brand greenhouses, actually come as standard with the Hercules.  Each model is  glazed throughout with toughened safety glass, for additional strength, as well as your protection.  Instead of standard glazing clips, the glass is retained by PVC bar capping, which runs the entire length of the glazing bars.  Ideal for withstanding adverse weather conditions.   Both models come with two glazed side louvre vents, but only the 7'11" model comes with roof vents, of which there are two. These are both supplied with automatic openers, which open and close the vents with the change in temperature.  Both side and roof vents work in synchrony, as fresh cool air is drawn in through the sides, pushing stale warm air out through the roof, creating the perfect growing environment.

Further features of these models include a sturdy downpipe, which attaches to the integral guttering, allowing you to harvest rainwater.  Both models come with slatted tanalised timber staging, either side of the door.  There is an option to add fill-in staging to the rear, to give an all-round worktop space. These are bolted directly to the frame, with cantilevered supports.  The elimination of vertical supports frees the space beneath for plants or storage.

There is a whole host of optional extras available to improve your growing experience.  One such option is the addition of tanalised timber high level shelving to match the staging, providing extra storage space..   A slimline water butt and stand are essential, if you are to make the most of the downpipe.
