Victorian Greenhouses

The Greenhouse People is the UK’s leading manufacturer of greenhouses, including a range of Victorian-inspired designs.

Victorian greenhouses are typically higher than modern designs, with 45-degree steeped roofs. This additional height helps with maintaining and regulating higher temperatures – protecting your crops against extreme low temperatures or sudden temperature drops. This is ideal for specimen plants like the banana plant. Plus, the extra height simply allows you to yield larger crops.

Our Victorian-style greenhouses are available in a range of sizes and unique designs to suit your garden, including a choice of aluminium or wooden frames. Browse our range below.

Victorian Greenhouses

Victorian greenhouses come in iconic designs that look beautiful in any garden. Our models come with period features such as cast aluminium spandrels at the eaves and the ridge – which not only look stunning but add strength and structure to protect your crops.

Our models also include traditional Victorian features such as narrow glass panels and narrow glazing on gable ends. This yields better growing conditions for healthier plants, such as greater light transmission.
