This is a high quality solution for your heated propagation needs.

These mats come with a small warming cable attached at the perfect spacing for even heating. To use, you need only roll the mat out, cover with foil and place your plants on top whether they are in seed trays, pots, roottrainers or anything the heat mat will provide the steady warmth neccesary for germination or the striking of cuttings.

Q. Can you provide trays suitable to use with your heat mats or can you suggest some other construction so I can make a hot bed for my greenhouse. If you can provide trays a description on how to set up the heat mat would be useful,

A. A hot bed can constructed with a wooden box/sand bed used on conjunction with a soil warming cable (see PRODUCT ID: 1191 -1194). Any type of seed tray can be used with this system.

Q. Does the heat mat come with an ordinary 3pin plug and can you tell me how long the electrical lead is

A. The Thermostatic Heat Mat 35cm x 120cm comes with a 3-pin 13A plug and 6' long lead.

The mat has proved entirely satisfactory with high germination rates for seeds planted such as chillis, peppers tomatoes etc. It was placed inside a window of a small caravan on polystyrene and covered with a polythene sheet with a watering tray filled with sand on top. A vast improvement on the germination rates achieved before.

Delivery of this item to Mainland England and Wales is £4.95, parts of Scotland and Northern Ireland may be subject to a higher charge. Delivery costs will be calculated and displayed at checkout before any payment is required.
