Sound little greenhouse and good value. Bar capping worth the expense - improves rigidity and appearance. Built mine on slab base and 150 mm by 50 mm treated timber frame to give addional eaves and ridge height. Take your time with assembly - finger tight for all the nuts and bolts first, assemble sides and gables over base check plumb and square in both planes before tightening nuts. I found a nut runner (10 mm socket) and a cranked 10 mm open ended spanner useful. Excellent service from the company.

Quick and easy to install. Remember to stick it in in the fridge before installing.

Ordering was easy and the delivery prompt. Assembly is simple, the construction sturdy and of good quality. The glass makes this cold frame quite heavy and anyone thinking of moving it about should take its weight into consideration

A well manufactured product that perfectly complements the material used in the construction. Size is sensible and height a bonus when working inside. Good attention to detail with the factory fitted lock. Base needs to be accurate and the inclusion of a 135 degree template would be so helpful in setting out the base beams. Instructions and pre-delivery advice excellent and generous fitting packs are supplied. Not so good ?.. the Finial needs a re-design (a turned one would fit and look better, even in plastic) ? couldn?t get it to sit level after some effort ?..a plastic cone shaped spacer/ washer in the inside fixing would help. The cabin hook fixing flanges are orientated 90 degrees to the preferred (horizontal) fit on the glazing bar - easy to change the supplier/design and the risk of splitting the glazing beads is completely eliminated - looks silly.. Lower shelf - end staging needed some modification to fit correctly ? supplied 10cms too wide. The delivery diver was brilliant ? a fine company ambassador.

Reasonably straightforward if you study the instructions. I am well pleased with this product so far....Would order again from the greenhousepeople, excellent service. Greenhouse looks well good!!!!!

The Simplicity Shugbborough 8x6 greenhouse I purchased from The Greenouse People Is now up and running just a few weeks after placing the order. From start to finish I have been impressed with the time scale, information provided, knowledge of staff and the quality of the greenhouse. The preperation and build guidelines were spot on & anyone (ideally 2 persons) with some DIY skills can erect this greenhouse in the suggested time of 2 days quite easily. The greenhouse itself is very secure easily screwed down and I would strongly recommend the toughened glass both from an aesthetic look but more importantly safety. The 6x8 size fits snugly in the corner of my garden as it would in most gardens even if it takes a little bit of juggling as I had to do.

The auto opener is very easy to fit and works well. Highly recommended to help regulate the temperature inside your greenhouse.

I was very pleased to receive a printed instruction manual by post. Putting the greenhouse up was fairly straight forward. The clips holding the glass in are the best I have used. This greenhouse is good value for money and the Greenhouse People ar good to deal with.

Very good delivery service. Great fun to put it together and instructions were very clear and helpful. It might be worth mentioning that to put the roof glass in place it is best to have someone outside guiding the glass upwards so that it is snug against the apex rail while someone inside keeps it up and away from the (very sticky) black tape. Only when it is snug on the apex and central should the person inside allow it to lower down on to the tape. ( its very hard to re-position once the glass makes contact with the tape. ) When placing the wall panes one person can do it by placing the bottom edge as central as possible while keeping the glass at an outward angle, slightly away from the sides. Then when happy that is is central, slowly move it to an upright position. One small issue was that we seemed to be couple of bolts short. No real problem because I did have some spares at home but could have been a bit frustrating. Apart from that a great product which will I hope will give years of service.

We are delighted with our greenhouse. Having just obtained our first allotment we were looking around for a good quality but reasonably priced greenhouse and have no regrets with our purchase. The staff were friendly and very helpful and even when we found some of the glass was incorrect it was sorted immediately and easily. Well thought out design, light and roomy greenhouse. Assembled very quickly and efficiently.

Having already got a similar mat to this one that grows my plants very successfully, I decided to get another one. The quality of the product is excellent and so far it is working well, keeping my seedlings at a constant temperature. It is very flexible and appears to be totally waterproof. Absolutely no regrets in buying it. Also I would like to say that I ordered this product at the end of one week and it was with me on the following Tuesday. Excellent product, excellent price and excellent commpany to deal with

I haven't used it yet, but this maker's products are always good value. The rating is an anticipation.
